The SD401A card is a one input eight output non-reclocking serial digital distribution amplifier. It is a low cost solution for distribution of serial digital signals over short cable distances of up to 100ft. where reclocking is not required.

The SD401A accepts composite (143 & 177 Mb/s), component (270 Mb/s) and the wide screen 16:9 aspect ratio (360 Mb/s) standards, thereby eliminating the need for different modules for different standards.

The SD401A can be installed in any position in the MF100 or MF104 Serialboxx frame.The 75 Ohm input and output signal connections are made via 75 Ohm BNC connectors.
