DA305B | AES/EBU Processing Distribution Amplifier
The DA305B is a multifunction AES processing distribution amplifier. Its' primary function is to allow audio level adjustment of AES digital audio signals while remaining in the digital domain. Level control of the signal is achieved by using the two screwdriver trim controls located on the front edge of the DA305B card. The card has one input and eight outputs.

The DA305B has two main outputs, each with multiple copies. The card may be field programmed to assign the input signal (Main Audio Channel) or an internally generated Test Tone to either or both main outputs.

A 400 or 1000 Hz Test Tone may be selected, at levels ranging from -60 to 0 dBFs. The sample rate of the Test Tone is referenced to the internal 48 kHz reference generator.

The DA305B can be installed in any position in an MF100 Serialboxx(r) card frame. The TB103 termination assembly, which is required with the DA305B/110 card, mounts on the rear of the MF100 frame directly behind the slot where the DA305B is installed. The 110 Ohm AES input connects to the Phoenix(r) pluggable screw terminals of the TB103. The 75 Ohm AES input and output connections are made on the BNC connectors.
