Description

The DA304A card is a digital audio sample rate converter with a dynamic range of 120 dB.  The DA304A accepts AES input signals with sampling rates from 22 to 96 kHz.  Sample rate conversion ratios of the DA304A range from 1:3 to 3:1.  The DA304A may be synchronized to an external AES reference.  When an AES reference (22 to 96 kHz) is used, the sample rate of the resulting output will be the same as the reference signal.  If a reference signal is not present, the DA304A will perform as an ordinary digital distribution amplifier and pass the signal through unaltered.  The DA304A can be installed in any position in the MF100 or MF104 Serialboxx frame.  The 75 Ohm AES input and output signal connections are made via 75 Ohm BNC connectors.  For 110 Ohm operation, TB103 is required.
