The AA102A card is a remote gain audio distribution amplifier designed to provide mono and stereo signal distribution. It is capable of summing (mixing) two input signals and providing multiple copies of the summed signal for distribution. The AA102A Remote Gain Audio Distribution Amplifier may be controlled by a 5 to 10K Ohm potentiometer located up to 1000 ft away. The AA102A comprises two discrete low noise analog audio amplifiers. Each amplifier section is equipped with a multi-turn potentiometer that provides continuously variable gain adjustment over a range from - 15dB to +15dB. Operating modes (mono/stereo/mixing) of the AA102A are configurable using onboard jumpers.
The AA102A is supplied complete with a TB101 termination assembly which mounts on the rear of the MF100 or MF104 frame directly behind the slot where the AA102A is installed. Input and output connections are made via Phoenix pluggable screw terminals mounted on the TB101 termination assembly.
