POD19 is an audio demultiplexer designed to extract one group of AES digital audio (two AES signals) from a SDI signal.To select a specific group, a front panel momentary step switch is provided to cycle through the four groups.Upon power-down, POD19 remembers the last setting and invokes the last setting upon power-up.

POD19 has one SDI input and one reclocked SDI output on rear panel BNC connectors. Demuxed AES outputs are available on rear panel XLR and BNC connectors.

Front panel LED tallies include group select, SDI lock, AES present and error. SDI lock signifies that there is a valid SDI signal present. AES signifies that a valid AES audio signal is embedded in the selected group and is being demuxed.The error LED signifies that there is not a valid SDI signal present.

Also available is POD19V, which replaces the unbalanced AES outputs with analog composite video outputs.
