M6202A
Multi-Definition SDI/AES Demultiplexer Decoder
Description
The M6202A is an HD/SD-SDI AES/EBU Audio Demuxer designed for broadcast use. The M6202A is a three group demuxer and it can extract up to six AES/EBU audio signals from either an SD-SDI or HD-SDI signal. The M6202A will extract embedded audio in accordance with SMPTE 272M & SMPTE 299M standards. Cable equalization and reclocking techniques enable the M6202A to recover the incoming SD-SDI or HD-SDI signal reliably. With the T6301A rear module installed the M6202A provides unbalanced 75 Ohm AES/EBU outputs. The M6202A is housed in the openGear DFR-8300 series frames.
