Description

The SLM series loudness meters are portable desktop units that display the average (VU) and peak (PPM) content of an audio signal simultaneously.   SLM8 monitors 8 channels of audio, and can be ordered as either 75, or 110 Ohm operation, optionally a Dolby E/AC3 decoder may be added.  The meter also includes a pair of “sticky” peak LEDs (for each stereo pair) that may be set to display peaks that exceed a preset limit, a phase correlation meter and status LEDs to display lock to signal or error.
