Ward-Beck Systems Ltd., 40 Years and Counting
In 2007, we will proudly celebrate forty years as a supplier of choice to radio and television facilities worldwide. We are active participants in the exciting evolution of technology for the industry and eagerly look forward to the next four decades. From the introduction of the linear slide fader radio console in the mid-seventies, to handing the engineer his ears back with the introduction of the BitBuddy™ in the late nineties, and continuing with meter designs for the HD radio era, Ward-Beck Systems is there to provide innovative solutions for broadcasters.
Our focus is to provide high quality solutions to problems that crop up as radio broadcasters try to cope with rapidly advancing technology, consolidation and a shrinking pool of engineers. In our quest to produce affordable products that perform 24/7, 365 days a year, are easy to install and intuitive to implement, we work closely with the engineers who spend every day on the front lines.
The wide range of audio products that we offer enables us to service everyone from the small independents to the large networks. We are proud of the confidence that our clients CTV, VOA, XM-Radio, NEP, NBC, ABC, CNN, The CHUM Group, Rogers, Corus, Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and many others have shown in us by choosing our analog and digital infrastructure products such as distribution amplifiers, A to D and D to A converters, and our wide range of metering and monitoring products.
No one can succeed on their own and we have had the good fortune to find some of the best suppliers in North America. We thank them for their assistance in sourcing parts that conform to our high standards and for their timely deliveries which allow us to meet the constant time crunch that faces our clients.
Over the years we have struck valuable alliances with many distributors in Canada and the USA and we wish to thank them all for their help in bringing our solutions to so many North American and international clients.
We wish to congratulate the companies that were there when we started in 1967 and are still here today. Congratulations also to all those competitors that came after and are still thriving. Competition helps us keep our edge and benefits us all.
We’re forty years young and we’re raring to go!
